Salisbury, NC – 20 September 2019 – Police are investigating a report of two repossession agents who were reported to have been assailed by two men, one with a hatchet and one with a handgun, who accosted them during a repossession attempt last week.
Police report that two men working for “Graham’s 4×4” in Kannapolis, NC arrived at a residence on E. Horah Street in Salisbury on Wednesday evening at approximately 10:47 attempting to repossess a Dodge 1500 pick-up.
The men claim that when they approached the truck, one man came from out of the residence with a hatchet, which he used to smash the rear window of the agent’s vehicle before chasing one of the agents.
At the same time, a second man allegedly came out of the residence brandishing a handgun which he reportedly pointed at the second agent’s head.
The repossession men fled the scene running around the corner as the two allegedly armed men from the house took the truck and drove away.
As of Friday, Police were still investigating the case, but as of yet, no warrants had been issued for the arrests of the suspects.
