Miss. Repo Man Shot and Passenger Injured

Jackson, MS – 23 February 2019 – Details are sparse, but an unnamed repossessor was shot during a repossession attempt and taken to the hospital with reported, non-life- threatening injuries.

The incident was reported about 10:30 a.m. Friday in the 200 block of Marla Avenue, authorities said.

A passenger inside the tow truck was injured in the neck area when he was hit by glass when the vehicle’s owner started shooting at the men who were trying to repossess the vehicle, Sgt. Roderick Holmes said.

The victim’s injuries are non life-threatening and may have been caused by glass debris resulting from the gunfire.

45 year old, Brian Miller

45-year-old Brian Miller is the reported owner of the repossessed vehicle. He was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault and shooting into an occupied vehicle.
