Lancaster, PA – 7 August 2018 – A Lancaster man faces multiple charges after police say he held a repossessor on the ground by force, ripped his t-shirt off and tossed his tow truck as his wife sat on the lifted car to avoid him leaving.
Manor Township Police responded to Lester St. Valle’s home on the 300 block of Weaver Road in Lancaster on August 9 just before 7 p.m.
According to police, the victim, a 42-year-old man, was working to repossess St. Valle’s 2012 Toyota Camry when St. Valle and his wife confronted him.
The car had already been placed on the lift when St. Valle’s wife climbed onto the Toyota and sat down.
Police say St. Valle then entered the tow truck and started throwing the victim’s things onto the ground, including the keys to the truck.
According to police, St. Valle “ripped the victim’s tee shirt to shreds” and held him down on the ground.
He forced the victim to lower the Toyota off the lift, and once it was back in St. Valle’s garage, the victim was allowed to get his things and leave the scene, according to police.
St. Valle was charged with Simple Assault and Unlawful Restraint.
