World’s Largest Recovery and Remarketing Association Offers the Industry’s First Continuing Education Program to Its Members & Members’ Staff

American Recovery Association Joins RISC to Create Beneficial New Program

Dallas, TX, May 18, 2012 – American Recovery Association, Inc. (ARA), the world’s largest association of recovery and remarketing professionals, today announced its partnership with RISC (Recovery Industry Services Company) to offer a continuing education program for ARA’s members and members’ staff. The continuing education program created with RISC will help ensure ARA members continue to meet the highest standards for its clients.

As part of the benefits of being an ARA member, the continuing education classes will be offered to ARA members and members’ staff at no cost. The one-hour classes will be conducted through online webinars with three 20-minute sessions. The classes will be held three times a month, so members and employees will be able to match a time with their schedule. Sessions include: The Recovery Process: Laws and Regulations, Compliance: Policies and Procedures and Best Practices.

The continuing education program is another new value-added service ARA provides to its membership. In January 2012, ARA announced the creation of ARMS (American Recovery Management Solutions), a member-owned contract and billing organization. ARMS was created to improve the recovery industry by meeting the needs of the lending community as well as the recovery agents.

“With ARMS’ commitment to the lending community of 100% transparency and the promise to utilize the most well-trained and compliant agents in the nation, it seemed natural for ARA to lead the effort to help our members and our members agencies to prepare to exceed client expectations,” said Mary Jane Hogan, president of ARA.

“RISC is pleased to offer our curriculum to the members of ARA,” said Stamatis Ferarolis, president of RISC. “With certification training and compliance being at the forefront of the industry, ARA has once again shown its commitment to staying ahead of current events.”
