Arlington, TX – May 19, 2022 – On Thursday afternoon of May 19, 2022, Adel Elhindawi, the owner of Salem Autos died from a gunshot wound to the head. Elhindawi was shot during a May 18th repossession attempt of a loaner car from his lot. His shooter has been arrested.
Brian Espy, 31 was arrested Wednesday at a nearby Motel 6 and was initially charged with assault.

These charges will likely be upgraded to murder. Espy had reportedly a customer at their car lot for years and knew the victim well.
Elhindawi was 52 years old and left behind a wife and two children.
