Catoosa, OK – 1 March 2020- Details are sketchy, but Catoosa Police report receiving a call regarding a person being ran over during a repossession at around 6:20pm on Sunday.
Reportedly, the person or persons (unnamed) attempting the repossession became engaged in an argument when they were unable to produce a repossession order.
Police report that a relative of the borrower had the attempted to stop the repossession by grabbing the door handle of the vehicle subject to the repossession.
It is then, that the person affecting the recovery began pulling away with the vehicle, during which, the unnamed relative stumbled and fell under the back wheels of the vehicle.
Reporting police officers believe the incident to be accidental.
The injured person was transported to the hospital with no details on the extent of the injuries.
The unnamed repossession agent was taken into custody by the Catoosa police. It is unknown if the agent was released on bond or is still in custody.
