Lookout Mountain, GA – July 16, 2021 – Shots were fired and a suspect barricaded himself inside a residence during a repossession attempt Friday morning.
Officers rushed to the location along Highway 68 West in the Sand Rock area. The incident allegedly began when suspect, 46-year-old John Crow of Collinsville, fired shots at or near a repossession team attempting to recovery a vehicle.
Crow was briefly barricaded in a residence until arrested and taken to the Cherokee County Detention Center on two charges of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substances and two counts of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
The suspect was also reportedly wanted on warrants for failure to appear on a prior charge of trafficking.
There were no reported injuries during the disturbance and Crow is being held without bond.
