“F*** you, you’re not taking my tractors. I’ll blow your f****** head off, I’ll f****** kill you.”
Teton, ID – February 11, 2026 – It wasn’t what anyone would advise to do under the circumstances. But a pair of men repossessing a tractor managed to walk away safe after an angry borrower drew a shotgun on them.

They were reportedly in the process of disconnecting a piece of equipment from the tractor when Carter came out of his shop. Words were shared between the agent and Carter as to the purpose of their actions and Carter went back inside his shop.
Moments later, Carter allegedly reemerged from the shop, shotgun in hand.
While one of the agents was seated inside the tractor, reports state that Carter stood in front of the machine and aimed the gun at him. When the agent closer to Carter tried to explain that they were there for a repossession. That’s when Carter allegedly aimed the shotgun at him.
Police documents state that Carter then told the agent, “F*** you, you’re not taking my tractors. I’ll blow your f****** head off, I’ll f****** kill you.”
The agent inside the tractor then opened the door causing Carter to turn his shotgun upward toward him. It was then that the closer agent sprung into action.

Grabbing the shotgun by the barrel, the agent managed to wrestle control of it from Carter and the two agents called the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office as they left the scene, most likely with the weapon.
