Ambushed at Gate
Kennett Square, PA – May 3, 2022 – It was just about midnight when the agent pulled his truck up to the agency gate. He was simply minding his own business when a pair of cars pulled up. Someone yelled “Where’s my car?” That’s when shots were fired.
Jamie King, an adjuster for International Recovery Systems (IRS) of Philadelphia, was shot in the head and stomach and is in critical condition. After hit, he attempted to flee and wrecked his truck.

After hearing word of Jamie’s shooting, agents from the greater Philadelphia area gathered at the Crozer-Chester Hospital in support of Jamie and his family.
Jamie is a valued and respected member of the IRS team who are very angry and saddened by this senseless act of violence. The incident did not occur during a repossession. Please keep Jamie in all of your prayers.
We will keep you updated.
