GA Repossessor fired on after letting woman get car seat

Albany, GA – May 17, 2022 – The recovery agent was letting her get the car seat from her car when Brandon Harrelson arrived. That’s when she handed Harrelson the gun. Gunfire soon ensued.

The Albany Police Department are looking for an aggravated assault suspect after an incident on Monday, May 16th, at around 7:30pm on the 2700 Block of Homewood Drive.

An unnamed repossession agent reported to officers that he had been in the area to repossess a Ford F-250 when a woman identified as Ellie McDonald approached him and asked if she could retrieve the car seat from the vehicle before he towed it away.

It was at that time that Brandon Harrelson arrived.

According to police, McDonald then gave Harrelson a handgun. Harrelson then fired one shot in the agent’s direction.

According to police, Harrelson attempted to drive the F-250 being repossessed off the repo truck’s lift, but was unsuccessful. Frustrated. he fired more shots at the agent.

Harrelson soon left the scene driving a Chevrolet 1500.

There were no injuries during this incident.

McDonald was transported to Dougherty County Jail and was charged with a party to a crime of aggravated assault with a firearm. Brandon Harrelson has a pending charges in this incident for aggravated assault with a firearm.
