Racine, WI – 30 March 2021 – One person was taken into custody and another was left rattled this morning, March 30, after a borrower fired a gun while a repossession agent was in the process of recovering their vehicle.
According to the Racine County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to a report of shots fired on 80th Street near 2 Mile Road in the Village of Raymond at around 3:45 am.
Officials say a repossessor attempting to repossess a vehicle, was approached by the borrower who then fired a bullet into the ground. Wisely, the repossession agent left the residence and contacted the authorities.

The borrower was arrested for endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct while armed and is being held in the Racine County jail on a $650 bond.
