Where the repossession industry gets its news

Consolidated Asset Recovery Getting Pushback from Repo Agency Network Over New App Demand

Agency Owners Saying “No.”

On June 11th, recently acquired, repossession forwarder, Consolidated Asset Recovery sent a memo to their agent network advising them that effective June 14, 2019, they would require that all accounts be processed through their new app. While their memo states that the change was brought about by feedback from their Agent Community, it does not appear to have unanimous support.

Almost as soon as the memo was released, it appeared on social media in several posts. Almost all of the responders were adamantly opposed and stated they would rather quit working for them than load their app.

One angry agency owner, called Primeritus, who acquired Charlotte, NC based Consolidated Asset Recoveries in April of this year. The agency owner stated that the person at Primeritus he spoke with was not even aware of this until two day before.

While the social media backlash may just be a vocal few in their network, Consolidated Asset Recovery will find out on the 15th.
