Changes to Exeter’s Photo Requirements for Flatbed Fees

Changes to Exeter’s Photo Requirements for Flatbed Fees

After careful consideration, we have decided to revise the policy.

The ARA Board of Directors and the entire ARA membership want to recognize and thank Dion Gage and the entire Exeter team for working with our association to make changes to Exeter’s photo requirements for flatbed fees. Exeter is now revising their policy. Brian Winters, AVP Servicing Vendor Management, sent the memo below highlighting the details.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and concerns regarding the recent changes to our photo requirements for flatbed fees. After careful consideration, we have decided to revise the policy. Going forward, we will only require photos for FWD, RWD, and E-Brake vehicles to be shown on a flatbed.

Please ensure that the submitted photos clearly depict the unit being properly secured while towing with flatbed or dolly. Additionally, the photo should be taken within a reasonable timeframe of the actual repossession event.

For FWD or RWD vehicles without E-Brake requiring a flatbed or dolly, please ensure that the need for this equipment is discussed and approved prior to submitting the invoice.

We sincerely appreciate Exeter’s taking our input and recommendations. We are grateful for their partnership. As an industry, we remain committed to unite and work together so we can achieve great things.
