First Repossession Professional to Serve in Organization’s History

Las Vegas, NV – November 2025, Billie Jo Stoddard has been officially elected to the National Automotive Service Task Force (NASTF) Board of Directors, marking a historic milestone as the first repossession industry professional ever to serve on the board.

The 2026 NASTF Board Election opened on September 16, 2025, and closed on October 15, 2025, with Stoddard receiving 499 YES votes and 70 NO votes. Her strong support reflects the growing recognition of the repossession industry’s essential role in national automotive security and service-information policy.

Stoddard attended her first NASTF Board of Directors meeting on November 2–3, 2025, during the SEMA/AAPEX Conference in Las Vegas. Her election brings long-needed representation from the repossession and vehicle-recovery sector to a national platform at a time when vehicle connectivity, data privacy, and secure access standards are evolving rapidly.

As the first repossessor to hold a seat on the NASTF Board, Stoddard is committed to ensuring that the challenges and perspectives of repossession professionals are included in future discussions around vehicle security, data management, and access protocols.
