Evansville, IN – June 11, 2012 – The reported owner of H&M Recovery of Owensboro, Kentucky was reportedly struck in the torso by a Chevy Tahoe as the borrower attempted to flee his repossession attempt.
Police reports state that 33 year old Rebecca Davis jumped into her silver 2000 Chevy Tahoe as 40 year old Paul Hicks of H&M Recovery was attempting to repossess it. It is alleged that Davis “intentionally attempted to run” Hicks over. Hicks reported to officers that the vehicle struck him in the midsection.
Despite attempts, police were unable to locate and apprehend Davis has been preliminarily charged with a class B felony battery with a deadly weapon.
There is no indication that Hicks required medical attention in the police reports.
