18 states gathered to discuss the next steps to support their members

On the morning of Tuesday the 18th, State leaders representing eighteen states, gathered to discuss how to support their members regarding the repossession agency shutdowns being conducted in Florida. Not only have they reported that they stand united behind the Florida agency owners, but they are discussing how to support their members decisions regarding shutting down.

Those gathered expressed their outrage at the tyranny by the forwarder client community in respect to unsustainable contingent repossession fees. Further complaint was levelled at the unrealistic, uncompromising and outrageous expectations being set upon them by the forwarder client community and that these can only be overcome through a greater unity.

While they have discouraged calling for immediate shutdowns, they have begun supporting a sustained long-term course of action to better support Florida, their own states and the repossession industry as a whole.

In closing, they stated that now it is time to take back control of our businesses. It is every agency owner’s responsibility to get involved in the evolution of our industry.
